Deposits and Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due prior to being put on our schedule. We accept payment through paypal, venmo, cash, check and credit card. Please note; credit card fees and other 3rd party payment options are subject to convenience fee. If a client chooses to provide fabric themselves, they must have it in hand before being scheduled. The outstanding balance is due upon completion of work, before delivery or pick-up. We will deliver within 25 miles of the Lafayette area for a fee. If you are unable to pick up your furniture on the agreed date  a storage fee of $25 a day may apply.

Estimates

An estimate is based on photos and specification received by Brian’s Upholstery. Pick up and delivery charges may or may not be on estimate. Final cost may vary from the estimate. Due to the nature of upholstery, some issues might not become apparent until the job has started. The client will be notified prior to moving forward with the project. Estimates are valid for 2 weeks from the date issued. All labor and materials cost include a 20% discount on the assumption fabric will be ordered through us. Clients that provide their own fabric will negate this discount and 20% will be added to their estimate. If there is something specific that you want done to your project, that will need to be discussed beforehand, after that we will use our professional judgment to decide what’s best for your piece.

Fabrics & C.O.M. ( customer’s own material)

Any project using C.O.M. will not be schedule until the fabric is in hand. This prevents us having to halt production to wait on back order. Additional yardage is required for pattern matching, plaids or stripes and the labor will increase. Please specify the correct placement of center, top, side, or bottom. If there is no specification Brian’s upholstery will make that determination and will not be held accountable for errors or customer dissatisfaction. Clients are completely responsible for inspecting flaws before it is delivered or shipped to us. If you would like us to inspect your fabric there will be a small fee.

Guarantee 

Our work will be guaranteed for 6 months from completion. Rips, spills, damages caused by clients( or clients pets) will not be covered. If a client chooses to use fabric from another distributor this guarantee will be void.

Disclaimer

Brian’s Upholstery cannot guarantee an exact start or completion date as our calendar is fluid. We also reserve the right to set your project aside for an indeterminate period of time, for any reason. If your project requires a fixed completion date please contact us to make special arrangements. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify items, details and/or sizes for quality standards. We reserve the right to refuse any job, for any reason, at any time. Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances, however we realize peoples situations change and do our best to work with our clients. If, at our discretion we refund a deposit, charges for materials, labor etc. may occur. Estimates are valid for 15 days from receiving.

In the event of non payment, the customer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the business in collecting the balance due. Customer agrees that any such dispute shall be resolved in Lafayette county.

Please note: credit card fees and other 3rd party options are subject to a convenience fee. If customer chooses to provide fabric itself, it must have it in hand before being scheduled. The outstanding balance is due 60 days upon completion of work. Seller will deliver within 50 miles of the Lafayette area for a fee. If customer is unable to pick up its furniture on the agreed date, a storage fee of $25 per day may apply.

Due to the nature of upholstery, some issues might not become apparent until the job has started. Customer will be notified in writing and customer must approve such changes in writing prior to moving forward with the project. Estimates are valid for 2 weeks from the date issued. All labor and materials cost include a 20% discount on the assumption fabric will be ordered through Seller. If customer provides its own fabric, it will negate this discount and 20% will be added to the estimate. If there is something specific that customer wants done to the project, that will need to be discussed beforehand, after that Seller will use its professional judgement to decide what is best for the piece.

Seller will pick up items to upholster and each piece will be completed within a 30-day timeframe from pick-up, barring any catastrophic events. If customer project requires a fixed completion date, please contact Seller to make special arrangements. Seller reserves the right to modify items, details and/ or sizes for quality standards. Seller reserves the right to refuse any job, for any reason, at any time. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances; however Seller realizes people’s situations change and will do its best to work with customer. If, at Seller’s discretion, Seller refunds a deposit, charges for materials, labor, etc, may occur. In the event of non payment, the customer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the business in collecting the balance due. Customer agrees that any such dispute shall be resolved in Lafayette Parish.

6. Opt-Out and Support

  • To opt-out of receiving SMS messages, you can text STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or contact us via email at briansupholsteryshop@gmail.com or by phone at (337) 573-0055. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and your number will be removed from our list within 24 hours.

7. Non-Sharing Clause

We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Brian’s Upholstery will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.
